Ohai, Guys. It’s Cami. Welcome to my little home on the internet. I’ve been wanting to launch “OhaiCami” my personal blog/news site for a couple years now, but have kept pushing it further down the list of projects that were already in progress. Now that I’ve pretty much launched my site, my first order of business is: to thank YOU. Yes, you, my individual view count in my stats box. You’ve not only taken an interest in the content that I put out, but you consistently stop by and visit to see what I’m up to. It doesn’t just confirm my belief that there are people do care about boobies, tech toys and competitive gaming; but gives me a reason to keep putting out content.

What you guys really need to know is not only am I a genuine geek, but I’m also hopelessly in love with eSports. My professional career has been very much influenced by live broadcasting of tournaments and events. From BlizzCon in Anaheim to DreamHack in Sweden, I’ve gone everywhere and have done pretty much everything, but that’s not enough for me. I’m a full-time freelance Video Editor and Graphic Artist. I unfortunately don’t have a career in pro-gaming, but to be honest, only a few of us do. Instead of just randomly running around these events doing my normal job/duties, I will now start posting my adventures on this site, and take you along with me to every event I go to. It’s my way of sharing the experiences that I have been so lucky to have.

Along with the launching of my site, I’ll also be starting up a series of personal video entries called “OhaiCami”. The premise of these videos is to be a little bit of me, in five minutes or less. Topics of all sorts will be covered, and hopefully in an entertaining way. Honestly, I don’t know why I’ve waited so long to do these again. All I can really say is that I went through a very rigorous and experimental learning process. Which is why the first series of videos will have this tagline: “If at first you don’t suceed; call it version 1.0″.

This website, along with its articles and videos will be a little extension of me. I very much do want to connect with fellow geeks, nerds, and gamers. There’s nothing more exciting than knowing that the content I put out is positively received by someone else, and makes their day a little less boring. I hope you also enjoy the journey that I’m about to embark on, because I’m taking you every step of the way.
